Cost of college went up for all students at the Aveda Institute-Twin Falls

Tuition and fees rose 6.9 percent for 2018-19 at the Aveda Institute-Twin Falls, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Idaho students paid $15,500 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $1,000 more than the $14,500 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 83 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 18 students received grants or scholarships totaling $95,735 and 20 students took out student loans totaling more than $239,000.

Including all undergraduates (58), 54 students used grants or scholarships totaling $263,422, and 49 students took out $584,826 in federal student loans.
