On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Wood River High School standout Hunter Thompson’s current college team, the Delaware State Hornets, lost 13-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Lincoln Lions.
The game took place at LU Baseball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Lions this season.
The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Bob Reed Field against Lincoln Lions.
