Galena Day

Date and Time:

Saturday, March 11, 2023
11:00 AM 2:00 PM
Location:

Galena Lodge Address 15187 State Highway 75 Ketchum, ID, 83340 United States (map)

Galena Day is this Saturday, March 11. As you may be aware, there is a significant winter storm predicted for our area beginning on Thursday through Friday night. Snow accumulation in the Galena area is expected to be between 1′ to 2′. We are watching the weather closely and are in communication with Galena Lodge. If both parties deem it necessary to postpone Galena Day for the safety of our families, we will make that call late on Friday. Please keep an eye on your email late Friday and early Saturday morning for an update in regards to our decision. We will also post updates to our social media sites, Instagram: Church of the Big Wood, Big Wood Kids, and Big Wood School; and on Facebook: Church of the Big Wood.

Join us for an afternoon of food, fun and fellowship at Galena Lodge north of Ketchum. Bring your snowshoes, sleds and nordic passes (if you have one).

We will provide coffee, hot cocoa and a mug of soup from the lodge.
